About Us

Blind Mice Gaming is a community with a clear mission: help fellow players with disabilities reach games that were not designed for them, and do it with fun, patience, and inclusion.

We use Guided by the Light in true paladin fashion. We believe in being true to the Light and in guiding people with positivity and accessibility.

The dream started while Raymond Bryant and Charlotte Bryant, husband and wife, were playing World of Warcraft, the game Charlotte began in 2004. Groups often kicked Charlotte because she was slower or struggled to see mechanics. That disadvantage made them want to help others like them feel included and accepted, and to find a way for others—including themselves—to play a game they loved with better accessibility. Raymond typically guides Charlotte on his paladin so she can keep playing. Charlotte was visually impaired when she started. She is now blind, and she has spent years finding easier ways to play for herself and for others. She develops addons and does much of the web work. Raymond handles social media and helps with game mechanics and technology.

Their children are part of the community because Raymond and Charlotte want them to learn that a community can accomplish more when people work with respect, kindness, and support.

The family on our banner is how we tell that story. The large mouse with the shield is Raymond, the paladin. The other large mouse, the hunter with the wolf, is Charlotte. The mage is their oldest daughter, who has autism. The retribution paladin is their youngest daughter, who is blind like Charlotte. The Fury Warrior is their youngest son, who is visually impaired and has autism.

World of Warcraft is where the dream came alive. Blind Mice Gaming is not only about World of Warcraft.
